Entertainment: Community influencers use Social media to unite creatives.

0

In light of the official announcement of #LockdownSouthAfrica – the aftermath has caused quiet a stir throughout the social space.

Clubs and Pubs, Pop up events, Local traders and Social markets took most of the knock harder. One of the main reasons would probably be visible in the statistics and consumer behavior patterns that we have collected from submission of events partnerships.

Interesting to agree that the majority of township economy viable options has largely been generated from the entertainment cluster. The cycle then is seen repeatable in the entire formal and informal supply chain. Especially since the announcement of the nation-wide lockdown.

In response to entertainment and social forum’s outcry to entertain fans and supportets, local movements and entertainers Sizwe “Rocboy” Daniels and Castro Mkhize will be collaborating with Westside FM to present first #WeekendOnlineParty dubbed #4FunSakes

Undeniably so, this exciting experience has seemingly become a trend globally where celebrities and online influencers redirect most of their online audience to broadcasters.

“Westside FM being the only community broadcaster in the entire West Rand proudly support initiatives that will at the end educate and unify” – Tebogo Mathodlana – Programs Manager

This collaborative social online feed will broadcasted for the first time on the 04th and 5th for free via 98.9Mhz from 18:00 – 23:59. The feed will also be live on Westside FM’s Facebook page.
